We’ll explore Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the Masai Mara, experiencing Kenya’s incredible wildlife and landscapes. From elephants beneath Mount Kilimanjaro in Amboseli and endangered rhinos in Nakuru, to hippos and birdlife on a Naivasha boat safari, each destination offers something unique. We’ll spend three days in the Masai Mara, tracking iconic predators like lions, cheetahs and leopards in one of Africa’s finest wildlife destinations.

Itinerary

Day 1:

Upon completing the immigration formalities, you will be received at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, by the Naturalist leading this tour. Breakfast at Nairobi. Post breakfast, travel to Amboseli by road (about 4 to 4 and a half hours – 225 km). Recommended time to start from Nairobi is latest by 8 AM. Check-in to your lodge at Amboseli. Lunch and rest. Evening safari. Stay at Amboseli.

Day 2:

Explore Amboseli on morning and evening safaris. In the evening, we will have a detailed discussion about the wildlife seen during the day, animal behaviour etc. Stay at Amboseli.

Day 3:

Morning safari at Amboseli. Check out from Amboseli by 10 AM and travel to Lake Naivasha with a lunch break at Nairobi. Reach Lake Naivasha by evening. Stay at Lake Naivasha.

Day 4:

Explore Lake Naivasha on a boat ride in the morning. Evening safari at Lake Nakuru. Stay at Lake Naivasha.

Day 5:

Check out from Lake Naivasha by 8 AM and travel to Masai Mara. Check-in to your lodge at Masai Mara. Lunch and rest. Evening safari at Masai Mara. Stay at Masai Mara.

Day 6:

Explore Masai Mara on morning and evening / full day safari. We will discuss the wildlife seen during the day, as we sit together for a campfire, back at our camp. Stay at Masai Mara.

Day 7:

Our final safari day of this schedule at Masai Mara, where we can do a full day / morning and evening safaris. We will return to the camp post sunset and spend some time around the campfire. Stay at Masai Mara.

Day 8:

After a leisurely morning and breakfast at the camp, we will check out at 8.30 AM and travel to Nairobi (about 5 to 6 hours by road – 265 km). We will take a break for lunch between 12 to 1 PM. We expect to reach Jomo Kenyatta International Airport latest by 4.30 PM. The group members will be dropped to the airport / hotel at Nairobi as per their next bookings.

Arrival at Nairobi: Book any flight that reaches Nairobi by 6 AM on Day 1.

Documents required for Booking:

Passport– Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your arrival date in Kenya and must have a minimum of one blank page. Please provide a clear, properly scanned copy of the passport’s biodata and address pages.
Yellow Fever Vaccination certificate– obtained from a Govt. Hospital
Passport-Size Photograph – A photograph taken against a plain white background, with both ears clearly visible and not covered by the hairstyle. The photograph must have been taken within the last 6 months.
