An excellent mix of habitats that support healthy populations of the Great Indian One-horned Rhinoceros, the Asian Elephant, the Wild water Buffalo, Swamp Deer and plenty of other herbivores as well as rich bird life, Kaziranga is a UNESCO World Heritage Site!

Spread over an area of about 430 square kilometer, this region is a mosaic of elephant-grass meadows, swampy lagoons and dense forests.

In 1985 it was declared as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. In the year 2006, the park was declared as Tiger Reserve.

Undoubtedly, this is the best place to see and photograph the Great Indian One-horned Rhinoceros in its natural habitat. The sheer number of animals one gets to see at Kaziranga is surely greater than any other wildlife reserves in India!

The park is located along the mighty river Brahmaputra and is divided into 4 ranges – Central, Western, Eastern and Burapahar range.

Kaziranga is recognized as an Important Bird Area by BirdLife International for the Conservation of Avifaunal species.

Kaziranga experiences massive flooding every year and hence is closed for tourists during the monsoon months.

November to March is the best time to visit this exceedingly beautiful forest.

Day 1 - Transfer from Guwahati to Kaziranga.

The group assembles at Guwahati airport latest by 0700 hrs. Using a properly sanitized vehicle, group members are transferred to Kaziranga. (Travel time – about 5 and half hours by road – 230 km). Post lunch the group will have first safari at Kaziranga. Stay at Kaziranga (Meals – Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 2 - Morning and afternoon safaris at Kaziranga. Stay at Kaziranga.

We explore different ranges of Kaziranga on morning and afternoon safaris. Aranyamie Wildlife Mentor accompanying the group will share useful & relevant information about the forest and the wildlife found at Kaziranga. Stay at Kaziranga. (Meals - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 3 - Morning and afternoon safaris at Kaziranga. Stay at Kaziranga.

One more day at Kaziranga where we will have morning and afternoon safaris. Along with birding we will also search for the 'Big 5' of Kaziranga – Rhino, Elephant, Water Buffalo, Swamp Deer and the Tiger. Stay at Kaziranga. (Meals - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

Day 4 - Early morning Elephant ride & morning safari. Transfer to Guwahati.

Today the group will experience a unique way of exploring the Kaziranga landscape. We will have the Elephant ride early morning followed by our last jeep safari of this schedule. After the morning safari and sumptuous breakfast, the group will travel back to Guwahati. (Meals - Breakfast)

Per person cost (Ex-Guwahati) - INR 33,500 Booking amount - INR 15000 (per person). Discount - INR 1000 per person for a group of 4. Inclusions - 1. Guwahati - Kaziranga – Guwahati travel by a properly sanitized AC vehicle. 2. Stay at Kaziranga for 3 nights on twin sharing basis. 3. Meals as mentioned in the itinerary. 4. Tips to the drivers, guides and staff at the resort. 3. Personal expenses of any kind - bottled water, extra meals (which are not included), room service, laundry service, any other beverages. 4. Insurance of any kind. 5. Camera fees. 6. Any other things not mentioned in the list of ‘Inclusions’.

Cancellation Policy for domestic departures:

If the cancellation is made 61 days (or more) to the departure date - Rs.3000/- will be charged as cancellation fees.
If the cancellation is made between 46 to 60 days before the departure date - 25% of total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If the cancellation is made between 31 to 45 days before the departure date - 50% of total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If the cancellation is made between 16 to 30 days before the departure date - 75% of total trip cost will be charged as cancellation fees.
If the cancellation is made within 15 days before the departure date - No Refund / No Credit Note.
'No show' by participants - No Refund / No Credit Note.

Important: Cancellation needs to be communicated over email only. The date of email will be used while calculating the cancellation fees and Credit Note amount. Refund Rules -

Refunds will be given in the form of a ‘Credit Note’ only.
The same ‘Credit Note’ can be used to participate in any trip / tour / camp organized by Aranyamie Wilderness Safaris within the next 6 months from the date of generation of the Credit Note.
The Credit Note is transferable.

Please Note - Credit note will be issued as per Cancellation Policy mentioned above, only if the entire trip cost has been paid by the participant with 60 or more days remaining for departure..
